A CHaRM’ing Adventure is an annual event in support of Live Thrive’s CHaRM, Atlanta’s only permanent drop-off facility for materials too harmful for the curb. Funds raised at this event help cover the center’s hazardous waste processing fees, environmental educational programs, expansion and cost of operating equipment. To date, CHaRM has diverted more than 100 million TONS of chemicals, paints, electronics, glass and tires from metro-Atlanta’s water system and landfills.
