What happens to my items once I drop them off?
Ninety-six percent of all items brought to CHaRM will be recycled, re-purposed or re-engineered. A few items, such as fertilizer and expired medicines, are incinerated in a controlled environment. Items brought to us for reuse will be distributed to local nonprofits working with children, veterans or other groups in need. For a detailed list on what happens to your waste, click here.
What are CHaRM’s hours of operation?
CHaRM is open by appointment only every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9am-2pm. We are closed May 29, July 3rd, September 4, October 7, November 27, December 23, December 25 and January 1.

Does CHaRM offer residential pick-up service?
Yes, CHaRM’s Zero Waste Patrol Pilot Program currently picks up in a limited service area in these zip codes: 30305, 30309, 30318, 30324, 30326, 30327 and 30342. For more information about the Zero Waste Patrol, click here.

Live Thrive offers a wide variety of educational programs for the general public, schools, civic and corporate groups. There are several classes and sessions that Live Thrive currently offers.
